I had a cross cultural childhood so I never stayed in one place long enough to call it home. My environments changed more often than the seasons. Not having the stability needed to familiarize myself with my surroundings led to the development of a sensemaking process that relied on capturing something interesting or intriguing from a specific environment and matching it with discoveries from other environments until I started noticing patterns. There's nothing I enjoy more than connecting dots (people, ideas, communities, etc.) that may not seem to make sense together
